(She/Her/Hers) Claire believes that at the heart of communications is telling a story in a compelling way to make change happen. For over 10 years, she's worked with large foundations, tiny nonprofits, membership organizations, and advocacy groups to increase access to reproductive health, take action for racial justice, and improve public health and environmental outcomes. Outside of 9-6, she enjoys giving back to the local community. Claire served for two years as the communications director of the Women's Information Network (WIN), and for three years as the communications director of Collective Action for Safe Spaces (CASS), a grassroots organization working to build a community free from sexual harassment and assault. She most recently served on the board of the DC Abortion Fund where she led the organization's communications and online fundraising efforts. She earned a BA in English and religious studies from Connecticut College and an MA in strategic digital and political communications from the Johns Hopkins University.
