Gitanjali Eva Sadana (she/her) is a climate organizer with the Sunrise Movement’s DC chapter and is training to be an elementary school teacher with the Teach for America program. She graduated from Columbia University and Sciences Po with dual BA, majoring in anthropology and political science with a focus on climate policy, environmental literature, and Indigenous studies. Through her experiences, she has come to understand how climate change and environmental justice are critical to all fields of work, whether as part of a student climate organization, as a food bank volunteer, or as an assistant teacher at a school with a community garden. This led her to The Climate Reality Project, where she is looking forward to learning from the Field Team and contributing to a value-driven organization.
