Frederick Johnson III is a dedicated professional with a unique blend of expertise in environmental planning, policy and law. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in English from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master's in Urban Planning from UCLA, specializing in Environmental Law and with a concentration in Economic Development and Environmental Policy, Frederick brings a multifaceted perspective to their work. With a deep understanding of the power of language and effective communication, Frederick Johnson lll leverages their background in English to bridge the gap between technical environmental planning concepts and accessible messaging. Their ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner is invaluable in advocating for environmental equity and sustainability. Throughout their academic journey, Frederick Johnson lll has developed a strong foundation in urban planning, with a focus on economic development and environmental policy. They have acquired a comprehensive understanding of sustainable development practices, land-use planning, and environmental justice principles. Their specialization in Environmental Law equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the legal aspects of environmental challenges. Prior to joining our team, Frederick Johnson lll has demonstrated their commitment to environmental equity and sustainability through their work in urban planning for the City of Los Angeles as well as working in Flint Michigan to build an equity framework for their General Plan. They have successfully applied their expertise to projects such as community assessment regarding Just Transition for the Inglewood Oil Field and the Crenshaw Community Collaborative which works as a sustainability guideline to minimize displacement and environmental injustice . Their contributions have not only advanced environmental goals but have also fostered inclusive and equitable outcomes.
